Peppermint Magazine was launched by husband and wife team Kelley Sheenan and Ben McGill in August 2008. Covering eco and ethical fashion, the indie mag has grown quickly, picking up 5 awards including best in sustainability and best designer of the year at the 2009 Publishers Australia Bell Magazine Excellence awards. Printed on 100% recycled paper and on a waterless printing press, Peppermint is a green fashion magazine with a fun, fresh, intelligent and positive spin, promoting individuality, respect and DIY personal style, by showcasing the best of eco designers from Australia and the rest of the world.
Kelley and Ben both come from a graphic design background, having run their own design agency in Auckland, NZ, along with a graphics-based clothing label. Now based in Brisbane, the couple work from a studio at home while juggling their 3yr old son.
